LUMYRA readings are written by a model operated by an AI provider outside Korea. Under Article 28-8 of the Personal Information Protection Act we explain what goes where, and ask for your consent when you request a reading.

Data transferred

Name, birth date, birth time, birthplace and email are not sent. Your name is inserted on our servers after the text comes back.

  • The computed chart: stems and branches of the four pillars, element distribution, ten gods, twelve stages, shinsal, and the luck tables by decade, year and month
  • Gender and a table of ages by year (year and age only, not your birth date)
  • Your question (if any)

When and how

Right after you request a reading, in an encrypted (HTTPS) API request, once per section.

Purpose

Generating the reading text. Nothing else.

Retention

Anthropic does not use API inputs or outputs to train its models and deletes them after a short operational retention period (up to 30 days under its policy). Retention of the finished reading on our servers follows the Privacy Policy.

Your right to decline

Without consent to the overseas transfer, AI readings cannot be generated. The free chart calculator runs entirely on our servers and can be used without this consent.
